"Women and Mathematics in Italy"

Historical exibit about famous women in Mathematics

From Thursday, May 4th, at Palazzo Turchi Di Bagno in Ferrara, it is possible to visit the exibit "Donne e matematica in Italia" ("Women and Mathematics in Italy"), a bibliographic and archive exhibition, with particular reference to "Ferrara" figures such as Olimpia Morata, Tarquinia Molza, Margherita Beloch, Gianna Calzolari (the first woman graduated in Mathematics at the University of Ferrara). Curators are Prof. Maria Teresa Borgato and a student, Rudy Salmi.
Educational workshops and guided tours are also provided.
