We  consider Arbitrary-Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) methods for compressible Euler hydrodynamics models. In a indirect ALE methods, a so-called remapping phase transfers the data from one mesh onto a target new mesh. Those two meshes may be uncorrelated or may share the same connectivity, possibly being very close from each other. We will present a solution based on polynomial reconstruction, exact 3D mesh intersection, and a posteriori correction.
